I worked with Al for about 2 years or so at Aberdeen Fire Dept. I always remember the guys call him ( Mr Twinkie) , that was a favorite snack of his. Everyone had avery high respect for Al, including myself. One day I was driving the fire truck and went by a business down town were Al was working and Al had hisbck to the street,I blew the air horn , the hair on the back of his head stood up, I did a apology to Al for doing that later, I felt bad at how much it had scared him. My wife use to baby set Dave ( Al's son) when he was younger. Al was one great person
