Robert Westby

Robert David (Rocky) Westby, 55, passed away New Years Day in Ocean Shores, WA. He was a victim of a hit and run driver.

Rocky was born on February 21, 1968 in Aberdeen to David M. and Peggy A. (Johnson) Westby. He graduated from Aberdeen’s Weatherwax High School in 1986. During his summer months while going to school he was a deckhand for Westport Salmon Charters.

Rocky was a member of the Northwest Sheet Metal Workers Union, Local 66 where he worked for many years.

Rocky is survived by his three children: Nikese Celene Garbis of Woodridge, IL, a son, David James Westby of Hoquiam; and a daughter Adaira Bronne Westby of Hoquiam; two grandchildren in Woodridge, IL; His mother, Peggy A Westby of Elma, WA; An aunt, Patricia A. Johnson of Ocean Park, WA; A cousin, Andrea Reimer of Bonny Lake, WA. He was preceded in death by his father, David M. Westby and his sister, Angela Rene Westby and his grandparents.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen, WA.
