> Mary Jo Jones, 52, Elma resident and cashier at Astro’s Chevron in Elma, died Thursday morning, September 17, 2015 at Summit Pacific Hospital in Elma.

>

> Mary Jo was born in Aberdeen on October 28, 1962 to Russel Carl and Eleanor Betty (Pick) Fredericks. She attended school in Hoquiam.

>

> Mary Jo worked at Elma’s Astro’s Chevron for the last year and before that had worked at Wal-Mart for 13 years, leaving in 2010. Before that she worked at Grays Harbor Health and Rehab Center in Aberdeen form 1991 to 2000.

>

> Mary Jo married Ron L. Jones on July 8, 1995. He resides at the family home.

>

> She liked to go to garage sales, casino’s to play the slots, Bingo, hunting and fishing.

>

> Mary Jo is survived by her husband of 20 years, Ron Jones of Elma; a son Edward Bowman of Brady, WA; daughters: Angela Jones of Cosmopolis, WA, Jennifer Jones of Aberdeen, WA, and Melissa (Tyson) Forrest of Shelton, WA; brothers: Ben Fredericks and Michael Fredericks; sisters Lorie Jenson of Airway Heights, WA and Pamela Bond of Olympia, WA; five grandchildren: Ashlee, Alek, Taylor, Dakota and Jordynn.

> There will be a celebration of her life at he daughter Mellissa’s home, 30 E. Barnsby Place, Shelton, WA on October 17th at 2 pm
