Jacqueline Renee “Jackie” Quinby, 65, a Hoquiam resident, died Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Harbor Regional Health in Aberdeen.

Born on December 21, 1960, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Joseph Adam and Doris Irene (Hargis) Cipale. As 1978 graduate of Weatherwax High School, Jackie worked for JCPenney then as a Pharmacy Tech alongside her husband Bruce at The Medicine Shoppe in Aberdeen.

Jackie returned to college to complete her education and proudly graduated from Grays Harbor College School of Nursing. Nursing brought her happiness and joy as she worked in eldercare, mental health, and later as a school nurse. She proudly cheered on her Seattle Seahawks, enjoyed traveling with family and friends, and spoiled her pets.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Bruce Quinby of Hoquiam; brother Joseph (Peggy) Cipale of Vancouver, Washington; stepsons: Chris (Megan) Quinby of Tenino, Washington and William (Courtney) Quinby of Chehalis, Washington; stepdaughter, Jacquelin (Ethan) Earley of Olympia, Washington; her grandchildren, nieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by a sister, Julie Messerer.

Her family would like to thank her friends: DeAnne, Chris, Kathy and Yvonne, who supported her during treatment and Aberdeen School District for their support during her illness.
