Carl Barcellos, 65 of Elma Wa, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on April 3, 2026. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Carl will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, steady presence, and deep love for those closest to him.
Carl proudly served in the United States Navy during the 1980s, an experience that shaped his sense of discipline, resilience, and dedication. Following his service, he spent much of his life working in mills and factories, where he became known for his skill with machinery and his willingness to take on any challenge. He held a variety of jobs over the years, always providing for his family with determination and quiet strength.
Outside of work, Carl found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved fishing, spending peaceful hours by the water, and riding his bike whenever he could. Above all, his greatest passion was his family. He cherished time spent with them, creating memories that will be held close for generations.
Carl is preceded in death by his mother, Shelby Pullin.
Carl is survived by his beloved wife, Sandy; his children, Marilyn, Alan (LA), Michael, Mandie, and Carl III; his father, David Pullin, brothers: Richard Barcellos and Matt Pullin; and his adopted kids Jonny and Sierra; his ten grandchildren; and his twelve great-grandchildren He leaves behind a legacy of love, perseverance, and devotion that will live on through each of them.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Services are being planned and will be announced at a later date.
